Fontainebleau Miami Beach channels the Riviera with La Côte, an open-air beach club and restaurant

(Miami Beach, FL) Inspired by the Côte d’Azur, La Côte at Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a chic, two-level beach club and restaurant with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and pulsating pool scene. The open-air seaside escape offers guests the flavorful cuisine of the French Riviera, as well as a lively DJ-inspired bar scene with innovative cocktails and tapas-style snacks.

At La Côte, Fontainebleau’s Executive Chef Thomas Connell presents an extensive menu of fashionable fare perfect those looking to dine casually and in style. The cuisine blends the crisp flavors of the Mediterranean with the freshness of Florida’s local ingredients. La Côte is ideal for those seeking respite from the sun where they can enjoy a cocktail and small plates or an afternoon dining destination with friends and family.

The diverse menu offers guests the option to share a variety of dishes such as the Greek Mezze or Crudité platters for two or a selection of Fruits de Mer from the raw bar. Additional lighter fare options include a variety of salads such as a traditional Nicoise, Caesar and Greek salads and Puy Lentil’s with carrots, shallots, tomato, parsley, pancetta and mustard dressing. For those seeking a more substantial meal, La Côte offers a variety of pastas, fresh grilled seafood as well as beach classics such as sandwiches and wraps.

Complementing La Côte’s seasonal cuisine is a refreshing cocktail menu and Rosé wine bar developed as part of the resort’s expansive cocktail universe. Guests can indulge in a variety of individual cocktails including the classic French 75 made with Bombay Sapphire, Champagne and fresh lemon or opt to order pitchers of La Côte’s signature Côte de Provence Sangria or Passion Fruit Mojito – perfect for sharing with friends.

Along with the rest of the shimmering pool deck, La Côte was designed by Jeffrey Beers International, and captures the essence of today’s modern beach club, while the deck as a whole perfectly embodies Morris Lapidus’ original vision of grandeur and playfulness. Atop the open-air second floor, La Côte offers a variety of seating options including six well-appointed teak frame cabanas featuring billowing sheer fabric and beautifully upholstered lounge furniture. These seats afford guests prime real estate to observe both Fontainebleau’s dramatic ocean views and high energy poolscape.

The bottom floor is outfitted with all-outdoor seating where guests can cool off under the ceiling fans while sipping their drinks and checking the sports scores on one of the three flat screen televisions at the bar, or order a full meal before heading back out into the Miami heat.
